TLI LIte Set for February 15th

TLI (Toastmasters Leadership Institute)

It's time for Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI). Club officers are required to attend a TLI session every six (6) months by Toastmasters International. One of those sessions must be in the Summer and the other in the Winter. 

At least four (4) officers must be trained each session in order of a club to receive its DCP (Distinguished Club Program) points.

District 37 has a TLI West and a TLI East session to make it convenient for members all over the state of North Carolina to attend. Normally, TLI West is centralized around the Raleigh area, while TLI East is centralized around the Charlotte area.

TLI East will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, from 7:30am - 12:00m at the Duke Campus at Levine Science Research Center building. To drop off people closest to the registration table, put into Google maps or GPS: 308 Research Drive, Durham, NC 27708. TLI West will be held on Saturday, January 25 at Grace Covenant Church located at 17301 Statesville Rd. Cornelius NC 28031.For more information, and to register, please visit the District website at d37toastmsaters.org.

Toastmasters Leadership Institute

If you missed TLI (Toastmasters Leadership Institute) West in Concord on June 30^th, there is still a chance to get credit for your officer role and for your club. TLI East in Raleigh will be held on Saturday, July 21^st. The location is First Baptist Church 99 Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. Click here to get map and directions. 

The cost for each session is $5 if you register online. If you plan on attending both sessions, your cost will be $10 if you register online and $20 if you walk-in. Lunch is available for purchase online for $10. Lunch will be very limited for those who choose to walk-in; $15. The options are Roast Beef, Turkey and Veggie.

If you are unable to make either the TLI West or the TLI East sessions, there will be a TLI Lite session for your division. Details should be coming soon.
